The new 7-inch single of “A Few Words in Defense of Our Country” and “Putin” is available to order in the Nonesuch Store.
Randy first presented the lyrics of “A Few Words in Defense of Our Country” as an op-ed piece in the New York Times in January 2007 as a response to a State of the Union address by then-President George W. Bush. The song was included on his 2008 album Harps and Angels.
“Putin” is a new song, released digitally this past October.
