On occasion, there have been theatrical performances staged using Randy's material. The most notable of these, of course, was "Faust" which was totally written by Randy and has been staged twice, in La Jolla, California and Chicago, Illinois. "The Education of Randy Newman" has also been staged twice, in Costa Mesa, California and Seattle, Washington.
